Watt Farms Country Market

Watt Farms Country Market is a family owned business established in 1980 with the mission of growing the highest quality fruit in the Western New York Fruit Belt. In 1989 we built a retail market and storage for over 60,000 bushels of apples.

We took the kids here some time ago. My remaining impressions:

- the wagon ride was fun and informative.

- the hay maze was fun for the kids, as were the animals in the petting / feeding area.

- apple picking was a blast.

- the food store was amazing; I bought many gifts for my extended family there.

- the toy / dime store was less than thrilling. Neat stuff, but overpriced compared to, say, Vidler's.

There was more, I'm sure, but that's about all I remember of the place. More recently, we stopped by for lunch on the way to somewhere else and were nonplussed. I guess this is more of a destination than a stopover.
