ACWC Quilt and Fiber Arts Festival
The Arts Council for Wyoming County is holding a festival complete with a quilt show and demonstrations of knitting, spinning, quilting, weaving, and much more. Nationally-renowned quilter Joen Wolfrom will present a Friday evening lecture and workshops on Saturday and Sunday.
Wyoming County Idol Contest
Those selected from the previous auditions will begin the Wyoming County Idol singing competition on the 18th at Letchworth Pines. The competition will be held every Friday night this summer at Letchworth Pines until the winner is crowned on the night of Friday, August 15th.

Sandy Pirdy's Creekside Fabrics & Quilts of Arcade won the Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce's "Best Retail Business" award in 2007. Now she's bringing a sampling of her work and the products she carries to Burlingham Books. Her quilts are on display at the bookstore during the week.
