Wyoming County bus driver charged with sexual abuse
A Wyoming County school-bus driver has been arrested on charges of sexually abusing a child younger than 11.
Alan Hamann, 64, of Gainesville, was charge with first-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. Hamann was employed at the time of the alleged incident by First Student Bus Co. of Attica as a driver for the Warsaw Central School District.
Motorcycle safety rally in Orleans County
ORLEANS COUNTY, NY - It's that time of the year when people with motorcycles ride with pride. Making sure the ride is safe is the reason a rally is getting a boost.

Accordion Festival
Rain or shine. Avon Driving Park, 350 Park Avenue, Avon. Several mini concerts by regional bands that feature the accordion, as well as a “round the world” presentation of accordion and concertina music from Italian, Irish, Polish, Eastern European, and Old Time traditions. New this year will be some “open mike” sessions, for anyone who has a squeezebox and wants to share some tunes. Look for displays of historical accordions and resources for accordion repairs and maintenance"your questions are welcome. The Driving Park also offers ample space for informal jam sessions under the trees. Refreshments available. Bring your lawn chairs. Support from the Folk Arts Program of the New York State Council on the Arts enables us to present the festival. Free/open to the public. An afternoon concert celebrating the diverse music of Livingston County sponsored by the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts. IQ Spencer Tabernacle at Elim Bible Institute Campus, Lima. 3pm concert featuring three musical groups, followed by refreshments.

Caribbean Steel Band Festival

All County High School Art Show
12-4pm. Ballroom at MacVittie College Union, SUNY Geneseo, Geneseo NY. Livingston County high school students' 2 and 3D artwork is presented in this juried show. Best of Show and First Place winners' work will be displayed in the SUNY Geneseo Lederer Gallery June 4-11, with a closing reception June 11 at 4pm.
