BATAVIA â€" Cornell Cooperative Extension of Genesee County's Nutrition Department is wrapping up their spring community nutrition classes with “A Taste of Genesee County” at 6:00 p.m on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at the Extension Center, 420 E. Main St., Batavia.
Just in time for the beginning of the fresh produce season, enjoy the flavors of recipes featuring ingredients produced in your own backyard. Develop a greater appreciation for foods produced in Genesee County and learn how eating locally is good for your health, the environment, the local economy, and also a treat for your taste buds.
