Western New York Congressman Tom Reynolds is announcing his retirement today. Reynolds has served the 26th District since 1999 and has been a member of the powerful ways and means committee.

He survived a tough re-election battle last election cycle against businessman Jack Davis. This week Davis announced he is thinking of running for that congressional seat once again.

Reynolds would be the second western New York Congressman from the GOP to announce his retirement.
