Join a knowledgeable guide and caravan to some of the best birding areas on Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge, Tonawanda or Oak Orchard Wildlife Management Areas. The field trip will start and end at Cayuga Overlook on the Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge and will run from 9 am - 12 pm.
From 1 - 4 pm, meet at Cayuga Overlook for an afternoon of bird watching. Volunteers from the Buffalo Audubon Society will provide spotting scopes and their expertixe identifying birds in the area -- including nesting bald eagles. In the event of bad weather this activity will be cancelled.
Iroquois Observations is a series of free nature programs presented on Iroquois NWR in partnership with the Buffalo Audubon Society.
