National Safety Council 6-Hour Defensive Driving Course
Register by September 12th
The average crash costs an employer $16,500. When a worker has an on-the-job crash that results in an injury, the cost to their employer is $74,000. Costs can exceed $500,000 when a fatality is involved.
Off-the-job crashes are costly to employers as well. Sending your employees to the National Safety Council 6-Hour Defensive Driving Course offered through the Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce is a start in helping to reduce your companyâ€TMs costs by training your employees on safe driving techniques while on the job or not. We also recommend you contact your insurance company to see how sending your employees to this course could also help you save on your annual insurance costs.
The course will be offered on Thursday, September 18th from 9:00AM - 3:30PM at the Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce. The cost is $50 for Chamber members and $65 for non-members. The registration includes a Safety Council Booklet and lunch. Advanced registration is required. Please contact the Chamber at 237-0230 or click here to register online
