Medina teacher arrested
The Medina Central School band director is under arrest after allegedly initiating a relationship with two students.
According to NYS Police, 33 year old Scott Ballard of Medina allegedly initiated a relationship with two female students. Both girls were over the age of 17 at the time and no longer attend the high school. The incidents stem back to 2004 and 2006.
Ballard is charged with official misconduct. He was arraigned in the Town of Shelby court and is scheduled to appear in the Village of Medina later this month.
