Iroquois Observations - free Nature Programs
Join a knowledgeable guide and caravan to some of the best birding sites on Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge, Tonawanda WMA and Oak Orchard WMA. Field trips start and end at Cayuga Overlook and run from 9 am - 12 pm.
Join us for our guest speaker series "Focus On..." from 1 pm - 2 pm. The subject this week is "Birding in Your Own Backyard" with speaker Garner Light.
Meet at Cayuga Overlook on the Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge for an afternoon of bird watching 1 pm - 4 pm. Volunteers from the Buffalo Audubon Society will provide spotting scopes and their expertixe identifying birds in the area -- including nesting bald eagles. In the event of bad weather this activity will be cancelled.
Iroquois Observations is a series of free nature programs presented on Iroquois NWR in partnership with the Buffalo Audubon Society.
