This summer, in fact. I can't remember when it's been this bad in July and I'm a person who can't take the heat, so I remember.

Gah! There are days when I can't even type straight.

Now, if the braintrusts at the Batavia City Centre had done things right, the place would not only be air-conditioned, but it would be a wi-fi hotspot (anyone able to get online with a laptop and a wifi card).

Then you'd see me down there from 9-5, sipping latte after latte from Cookies & Milk, enjoying lunch from our downtown vendors and typing away happily in the coolness of the great cavernous emptiness that is the mall. In fact, it might even become a gathering place then, full of people who occasionally look into storefronts and spend greenbacks. Stores might move in...

*startle* Huh? What?

Oh, sorry, drifted off into fantasyland for a moment there.

That's right, this is Batavia, where very little is ever done right.
